We use Leviton because it’s a rock-solid system. Their panels are a security system first and an automation system second. With Leviton, you can leverage all of the information from your security sensors to make your home as efficient as possible. Unlike some consumer focused HVAC systems (such as Nest), Leviton knows with 100% certainty if you are out of the house, and can activate efficiency programming with that information. Some of our most popular programming features include:
This is a great system if you are looking for reliability, value, and advanced scheduling/automation abilities.
The major limitation of this system is the lack of audio/video. Almost all other aspects of this system can be expanded to near endless limits.
After doing extensive research on companies doing Home Automation, I decided to go with Mile High Automation. From the first time I talked to Josh Ferguson, I was impressed by his level of technical expertise and professionalism. Josh walked me through every step, from initial design, through wiring, and final installation. Josh was always there to provide guidance and to answer my questions. What impressed me the most about Mile High is when I asked Josh to provide the capability to interface my awning to my home automation system. Even though Josh had no experience with that specific awning company, he was able to interface the two, and made it work seamlessly. Josh is always responsive when I ask him to enhance the programming of my system to provide new capabilities. I wish all companies were as customer service oriented as Mile High.
When I bought my new house, I was looking for a new security system at companies in my neighborhood. None of them seem to have what I was looking. At first when I found Mile High Automation I wasn’t sure if I this was going to work for me. Where do I go for technical advice, what if it doesn’t work and how to install it? After my first conversation with Josh, one of the employees at Mile High Automation, I felt this was the right solution for me. Josh helped me out in every step of the installation process and explained everything I needed to know.
Everything was programmed by Josh directly over the internet. In one instance I was on the phone with Josh explaining what I needed. The next moment it was programmed by him and everything worked the way I wanted it. Without the personal support from someone like Josh I recommend not to buy these type of systems by yourself.
I have had my Smarthome for 2 months now and I enjoy it very much. I choose to install the security system with light controls myself using a touch pad and communication consoles so I could customize it.
After comparing several vendors I contacted Mile High Automation. They did not disappoint me. Not only did I receive very good instructions/documentation and competitive pricing, but also generous help in setting up and programming of the equipment. Many vendors are unapproachable after you paid up, but I am happy to say that Mile High Automation is always there for you.
Working with Josh made my home automation a breeze. Even across the country from Michigan to Colorado Mile High really worked with me and my contractors to deliver a quality system at an affordable price. I started working with Mile High when I first designed my home. Josh provided the needed insights to deliver a well engineered solution for the price I needed. Mile High worked with me from concept through start up and even now 1 year later, if I have questions, Josh does not hesitate to work with me. The components installed have been reliable and worked according to my expectations and the total cost of ownership, from design to installation to use exceeded my needs.
