Google’s social networking platform, Google+, has been something of a letdown since it launched. People hoping for an alternative to Facebook were met with more of the same thing on top of the fact that Google+ seemed like an afterthought to the company.
One of the biggest problems people had was that pseudonyms were not allowed on Google+ which excluded people who don’t go by their legal names online from signing up. Well, Google just announced they’re finally going to allow pseudonyms, as well as Google Apps and brands on Google+.
